Greg and Anna are unbelievably friendly, hilarious, and great hosts. They also have happy baby twins and a very energetic dog named Lucy. Zara also has to wear a helmet 23 hours a day (for three months) to help shape her head (which is slightly flat from the tight space in the womb for two babies). She does look pretty cute in her pink helmet (I believe the appropriate phrase here is “bless her little heart”). I have a feeling this last photo is going to show up at her wedding or something and she won’t be inviting me. Put it all together, it makes for a very fun morning doing a family photo shoot. We’re planning to do a studio shoot in the future, but we wanted to do something quick and easy now. We shot in their home to make for familiar and comfortable setting for the babies (it’s pretty cold out now, though not so bad for a Minnesota winter). Greg was also looking for a simple headshot he could use professionally, so we got a quick shot on the front porch. We are working on a series of 5 black and whites prints from this session to hang in their living room and an 8×12 photo album from the shoot.
