While I’m focused on weddings and portraits these days, I’ve always enjoyed architecture quite a bit (especially cityscapes). Last summer I took a trip down to Milwaukee and stopped at the “Marquette Interchange” to snap a quick shot of this amazing structure. That photo is now part of an interesting article on it in the April 2010 edition of Milwaukee Magazine.
There’s really no photo I’ve seen that can do it justice (I’d like to get a shot from an elevated position someday) of this incredibly large and complex series of freeway flyovers. What you see in the picture here is just a tiny portion of this incredible $810MM feat of engineering, only 2 of the 28 ramps…
