Golden Hour at Como

Sometimes I setup for a shot and think to myself, “I’m glad it’s 5:30am, so no one sees me looking like a clown!”  I had to hunch over my tripod in the most awkward way possible to get the camera lens right down to the water’s edge for this shot.  I’m sure I looked preposterous.  But I think the results were worth it.  I love how the whole sky lit up in a soft pink and peach tones, while the open blue sky behind me gave the green house a nice cool tone.  It looked stunning together and seemed to give a nice soft feel to all the rigid lines in the structure.  And then, just as I finished after the beautiful light started to fade, the joggers starting showing up.
