I’m taking a short break from the Colombia pictures to put up something I shot yesterday.  These are old loading docks at Sibley and Wabasha in the lowertown area of St Paul, MN.  There’s something undeniably irrestible about urban decay.  If you let your house fall apart, it’s pathetic  But if some random building crumbles, well then it’s art!

Technique:  Recombined original metered exposure (about 50% soft light layer) with HDR to create a more realistic image with greater depth.
